In 2016 we started experimenting with 360° panoramas to assess potential for our travel guide. We shot a small series of 360° panoramas, which reached nearly 600,000 views. We were soon agreed as official Google Street View Trusted Photographers.
In 2017 we started to focus on this type of photography and our 360° panoramas exceeded 5.6 million views. We also started to post 360° panoramas on Facebook.
In 2018 we started creating "virtual strolls" (touristic Street View tracks mixed with virtual tours of local companies) and our 360° panoramas exceeded 13.2 million views on Google and 4 million views on Facebook.
From January to September 2019, the increase compared to the same period in 2018 reached 21%.

How many views will you get every year?
It is of course unpredictable! The number of yearly views varies according to your location and to how many panoramas are displayed in your virtual tour.
We started creating virtual tours of local companies in May 2018 and Google Maps doesn't provide analytics.
Anyway, we monitor global scores on Google and Facebook and we can extrapolate some key figures.
The average impact of each tour created in 2018-2019 was in March 2020 20,000 to over 100,000 panorama views on Google and Facebook.
This impact varies according to the number of panoramas of the virtual tours, to the localization of the featured place and to the popularity of the Facebook posts.
In 2020, the virtual tours created for our partners continued to have a significant impact given the situation. Restrictions and lockdown do not prevent dreaming.
