The path on the left climbs towards the cave of Zeus and the summit of Mount Zas. It is a steep and difficult mountain hike, so do not attempt it in beach sandals... Note that the summit can be reached by another, easier route: from Filoti, take the road to Apiranthos, then turn off towards Danakos and park near the chapel of Agia Marina, where the trail begins.
