Located below the ski resort itself, the old village has retained its intimate scale and offers breathtaking views over the Rhône valley and the Bernese Alps.
In winter, the 4 Vallées ski area offers 400 km of slopes for all levels, and Veysonnaz is home to the legendary Piste de l'Ours, famous worldwide for having hosted 30 Ski World Cups.
In summer, visitors can enjoy walks along the waterways of the numerous ‘bisses’ (irrigation channels) and marked trails, which offer many hiking opportunities, while mountain bike trails of all levels of difficulty delight enthusiasts of this sport.
The old village has not been affected by the construction frenzy seen in Haute-Nendaz or Verbier and has retained its authenticity. If you enjoy traditional Valais, you will fall in love with the old chalets and be enthralled by the breathtaking panoramic views.
